Directions

Directions to WYRA:

FROM POINTS SOUTH: take I-95 north into Wilmington.  Exit at #6 , MLKing Blvd., RR station.  At the foot of the ramp take a right onto Maryland Avenue to the traffic light and make a right onto MLKing Blvd. Follow directions below.

FROM POINTS NORTH CROSSING THE DELAWARE MEMORIAL BRIDGE: Look for I-95 North, Wilmington signs.  Do not go on I-495.  Exit at exit #6 and at foot of ramp make a right onto Maryland Avenue to the first traffic light onto MLKing Blvd.  See directions from MLKing below.

FROM POINTS NORTH TAKING I-95 INTO WILMINGTON: take exit #6.  At bottom of ramp go straight to the 4th traffic light and turn left onto MLKing Blvd.

DIRECTIONS FROM MLKing Blvd.: Stay in the 2nd from right lane and go past the train station (look for the clock tower) crossing Walnut Street. MLKing Blvd. becomes Front St. at the train station. 1½ blocks past the train station you go under the railroad and turn into the boathouse parking area on your right.

St. Andrew's School - Noxontown Pond, Middletown, Delaware

I-95 South to exit 4-A (Christiana Mall) and follow signs to Rt. 1 South. Stay on Rt. 1 going over the bridge with the yellow arches and continue through the tollbooth ($1.00). Remain on Rt. 1 South until Rt. 299 (Middletown/Odessa exit). Take a right onto Rt. 299 towards Middletown. At the light turn left onto Silver Lake Rd. Proceed until it ends.  Turn left onto Noxontown Rd. Go past the school entrance, cross the bridge over Noxontown Pond, and continue until you see a field on your right with trailers and cars. Pull through the gate and park near WYRA's orange trailer.

 

Mercer Lake, New Jersey

Take either I-95 to the Commodore Barry Bridge to 1-295 N and go north to Rt 1 (Princeton area) OR take I-95 north thru Philadelphia into NJ and look for signs for Rt 1 North, New Brunswick (Princeton). The first Rt. 1 sign you see will be while you are still on I-95 in PA. DO NOT take this exit. You want the 2nd Rt 1 sign which you will see when you are in NJ.

Once on Rt 1, very quickly look for Quaker Bridge Rd (overpass at Quaker Bridge Mall). Go south on Quaker Bridge Rd (533) Go 2 miles to Hughes Drive which is AFTER the 3rd traffic light, NOT at the 3rd traffic light. Turn left onto Hughes Dr. (the Van Nest Wildlife Refuge is near the left corner) Stay on Hughes to entrance to Mercer County Park on left.
