Tank Rental
The rowing tanks seat 8 rowers and are housed in a heated, separate room off the side of the boathouse. The tanks are filled with water (approx. 2 ft deep) and the rowers use real oars. This gives them the feel of rowing while still being in a secure, indoor facility. There are large mirrors on the walls so rowers can see themselves and therefore their technique. The coach can stand at the front to run the practice making the tanks safe enough even for young children to use.
WYRA charges $75/hr with a two hour minimum. Rowers will also have access to vending machines, a water fountain and indoor bathrooms.
