Summer ProgramsRow-For-It!Join the crew! Now in its 16th season, Row-For-It! introduces youngsters to the wonderful sport of competitive rowing. Campers row and race on the Christina River in sleek 60 foot racing shells. Our skilled and caring staff provides fun on and off the water. Dates: June 30 to July 17
Who Can Attend: Boys and girls 10-13 years of age. Basic swimming skills required. Cost: $100.00 ATTIRE: Rowers should wear shorts, shirt, running shoes and socks, and must have a water bottle. You will also need to fill-out the forms listed on the Forms page. Rowing 101Think you might like to row in college? Or in high school for WYRA?— ROWING 101 is a perfect introduction to competitive crew. Our coaches are college varsity rowers who can teach you the basics of rowing and talk to you about the high school/college-rowing scene. This camp is a great chance to see if crew is for you. Dates: Both sessions are 4 days long, and lunches are provided.
Who Can Attend: Boys and girls 14-19 years of age. Basic swimming skills required. No previous rowing skills required. Cost: $300.00, lunch provided ATTIRE: Rowers should wear shorts, shirt, running shoes and socks, and must have a water bottle. You will also need to fill-out the forms listed on the Forms page. Advanced Row-For-It!Join the crew for non-stop fun. Work on and off the water to polish your rowing skills in preparation for competitive crew! Coaches will work with rowers in the rowing tanks and video them on the water. Dates: Both sessions are 4 days long, and lunches are provided.
